We had a small family (3 generations) gathering here that also included a trip to the ball park. Our room, including the bathroom was very small. The room was very musty and damp. One of the comforters had stains from mold on it, gross. Housekeeping never showed up during the stay. Drinks at the bar were very expensive. And this is the short list, lol. The only good thing we can say is the location to the ball park is great. We will never, never stay there.

We were in for a Cardinal's game, so the location was perfect. The room was comfortable; however, there were a couple of things that were a bit of a pain. The air-conditioning was a bit loud, but that helped drown out the music from Mike Shannon's which was very audible even on the seventh floor. The elevators were extremely slow--super slow. Also, the light in our room when you first come in did not work. I expect the bulb was blown out. Finally, we had house keeping enter our room (I was in the bathroom and my husband had the tv on so he didn't hear her knock) and say, "Oh, I thought you had checked out." This was 9:30 in the morning. No excuses for that. I felt a bit like I was being pushed out. On the bright side, the room fee came in at $* lower than I expected. And the parking was high, at $* for 24 hours, although that was comparable for any parking near the ball park. I would stay again, but not in the west tower.

we stayed at the hilton at the ballpark downtown, arriving at 10pm with a toddler and one of the 2 rooms not being ready per housekeeping, all the lack of dusting in both rooms on the 6th floor, and the awful pillows (my own personal opinion), the hotel was in a great location and roomy enough the staff was excellant and helpful, do plan on staying again in august....I mean we can walk to the stadium in less than 3mins!!!!

... home to the Hilton. Walking distance to the Ballpark? Ummmm you might get hit with a homer from Pujols it’s so close...just kidding! Great restaurant and great bar? Yes, they sure do serve them good at Mike Shannon's along with large flatscreen TVs at the bar to watch the game if you don’t have tickets or just want to watch any ole’ sporting game. Starbucks attached to the property? For caffeine addicts like me, ummm yes it’s right at the entrance. Midnight munchies? How about that large deluxe with extra sausage from Imos?… it’s open late and just yards away and they deliver room service??? Whoa that’s a homerun! Yes, the Hilton is still the Hilton. Great spectacular service, amenities to match and quality assurances with the Hilton brand name. With the Hilton at the Ballpark you can’t go wrong. But the good times? That’s going to be hard to swing and miss.
